The Benefits
Art opportunities are provided in a variety of settings in order to best meet
the needs of the children and their families. They are all encouraged
to participate in sharing their feelings through applied art or creative writing.
All of the submissions for the show are exhibited and judged. No one goes
away a loser, because so much has been gained in the process.
Further recognition for the children results when the show travels to various locations in Houston, the U.S. and other countries.
The success of Making A MarkŪ is evidenced by the yearly increase in the number of applicants. The goal is to continue to broaden the base of volunteers to reach more children and continue to improve every aspect of the program.
