The name periwinkle comes from the perennial Vinca minor, a life-giving plant whose components are used in the treatment of cancer.

Welcome to The Periwinkle Foundation!

The Periwinkle Foundation enriches the lives of children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses through exciting camping and recreational programs. Doctors help the children to heal physically, we help them to heal emotionally.

The foundation mission is dedicated to Texas Children’s Hospital. Texas Children’s is the largest pediatric hospital in the country. The Texas Children’s Cancer Center is the largest pediatric cancer center in the country. Our programs are needed more than ever!
